Byron retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) early in 2018 as a member in good standing after serving with the force for more than 21 years.
Byron is an experienced Forensic Collision Reconstructionist as well as an accomplished Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAS/Drone) pilot. He managed the RCMP UAS program in Manitoba for five years prior to retirement and is a decorated recipient of the Province of Manitoba Excellence in Law Enforcement award for his work in unmanned aerial vehicles. He has traveled extensively, has contacts throughout North America and Europe and has been a guest speaker at The Commercial UAV Show in London, UK.
Byron has always believed in doing what's right, not only on the job but in civilian life as well. He believes in being a good steward of the community and instilling those values in others. As CEO he believes that it's not about us, it's our commitment to our customers.
Getting to the root of the issues and problem solving is his forte. He does not settle for good enough and strives to bring out the best in those around him.
